December 7, 2009 Annual Giving Practices, Ticketing No Comments

TCUPlaying in their first ever BCS bowl game after completing an incredible undefeated regular season, the TCU athletics department is using their momentum and certain ticket demand to drive membership to the Frog Club. The Frog Club, which is the fundraising arm of Horned Frog Athletics, provides scholarship support for the over 300 student-athletes at Texas Christian University.

After accepting their bid to play in the BCS sponsored Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, the Frog Club added some incentives for potential donors to join the forces. New Frog Club members, joining at the $100 level between now and the game will be guaranteed the rights to purchase two Fiesta Bowl tickets and the option to purchase two more with a $100 per ticket donation. In short, the Frog Club is able to gain a $300 donation (plus the price of the tickets) per new member for a trip to the Fiesta Bowl. With a high demand for the upstartTostitos Bowl Horned Frogs, this plan is sure to pay off and provide more scholarship funds to TCU athletes.

Of course, current donors will also be eligible for bowl game seats, and can submit new gifts up until December 11 to improve their priority point levels and ticket options. By leveraging their 2009 success and a trip to a BCS bowl game, the TCU Frog Club is taking full advantage of their football success and benefiting horned frog student athletes.
